I think this was my favorite audition of the night (and, trust me, I loved A LOT of the contestants…) because it was so emotional. I felt a certain connection with her, I understood that need to give, give, give to others and love someone or something more than yourself and how hard it is to take time for yourself at times and do what you love. But I’m so glad she got past the barriers of age or expectations because she was beautiful. Also, the second the song started, I felt a pang through my whole body and soul because of what that song has meant to me in the past. Then her children supporting her so much melted my heart and made me hope that, one day, I will be as lucky and beautiful (I mean beyond looks here) as her.
She better make it in the very top rounds.
